Fall Cleanout in Lexington? Here's the Dumpster Size You Actually Need
Thank you for contacting us.
We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
We got it.

From garage cleanouts to full estate clearouts, here's how to pick the right size the first time
Drive through Chevy Chase, Hamburg, or Ashland Park this time of year and you'll see it everywhere: garage doors propped open, old furniture staged on the curb, homeowners standing in the driveway wondering where all this stuff came from. Fall has a way of forcing that reckoning in Lexington.
Before you rent anything, two things actually matter: getting the right size dumpster the first time, and knowing your driveway will still look like a driveway when the job's done.
We started Big Blue Dumpster as a family business, and honestly, the reason we're still at it is the people. Showing up when we say we will, pricing the job upfront, and treating your property the way we'd treat our own isn't a slogan for us. It's just how the day goes.
What You're Actually Paying For (and Not Paying For)
A lot of dumpster companies quote you low, then tack on fees once the container is already sitting in your driveway. Here's the difference with us:
- We're family-owned and run locally, not a national brand routing your call to another state
- Every quote is a flat rate, and $0 in surprise fees show up on your final bill
- We show up, we know the streets, and we treat your lawn and driveway like they matter
- If something's unclear, you get an answer from someone on our team, not a script
Customers stick with us because none of that changes from the first call to the last pickup.
How to Pick the Right Size Without Guessing
Most people either order too small and pay for a second trip, or order too big and pay for space they never fill. Here's the shortcut, based on what actually fits.
If you're clearing one room, a garage, or doing light yard work, the 15-yard dumpster ($375-395) handles it.
Tackling a kitchen remodel, a roof tear-off, or new flooring throughout the house? The 20-yard ($429-449) is what most Lexington homeowners land on, and it's our most requested size.
Adding a room, gutting more than one space, or clearing a house before listing it calls for the 25-yard ($499).
And if you're dealing with a full construction project, an estate cleanout, or a property with years of accumulated stuff, go with the 30-yard ($575).
Still not sure? Call and describe the project. We'd rather size it right than sell you more than you need.
The Price on the Phone Is the Price on the Invoice
Every rental includes 7 days, delivery, pickup, and taxes, all in one number. Need it longer? That's $25 a day, and we'll say so before you book, not after. One thing to note: there's currently a temporary $15 fuel fee on every order. Fuel costs are what they are right now, and we'd rather tell you upfront than bury it in the fine print.
Your Driveway Is Not an Afterthought
We've all heard the story of a dumpster company that cracks a driveway or leaves ruts across a yard. That's the opposite of how we run a job. Our drivers place the container with your property in mind, use protective boards where the ground calls for it, and clean up before they leave. When we pull out of your driveway, the only thing that should be different is the pile of junk that isn't there anymore.
Not Just Lexington
We cover the whole Bluegrass Region: Lexington, Richmond, Winchester, Georgetown, Nicholasville, Paris, Midway, and Frankfort. Same-day delivery is often possible if you need to start sooner rather than later.
Let's Get Your Dumpster Scheduled
That garage isn't going to clear itself out. Call (859) 544-4795 and talk to a real person, or book through our online platform any time, day or night. Either way, you'll know the price before we ever pull into your driveway.
